Our Story
Singularis Management Consulting is a Chicago-based consulting firm specialises in assisting clients in developing their vision, putting it into action, and running it efficiently and effectively. We offer Workday Services to small and medium-sized businesses that have been unable to find traditional and less flexible partners to meet their Workday requirements.
Our approach to a project is to work to understand the ramifications of the changes, including business needs and strategy, training and communications, testing and auditing (and risk), and long-term requirements to maintain what is put in place. Too often, Workday projects are solely concerned with the system's configuration, ignoring everything else that must be done in order for the business to succeed.
Singularis began by assisting one of the first joint Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials implementations for a highly complex financial services client. Singularis has worked with Workday clients in a variety of industries since then, including banking, asset management, insurance, and education.

Alan Houghton
Alan first encountered Workday 11 years ago while working on one of the first integrated Human Capital Management and Financials implementations. Since then, he has assisted numerous clients in implementing and optimizing Workday, spanning nearly every module and functional area within the application. He thrives on the challenge of resolving Workday's most perplexing problems!
With over 20 years in international consulting, Alan has worked on a global scale assisting businesses in increasing their efficiency using database design and management, technology strategy, investment planning, portfolio management techniques, and service management processes. He oversaw initiatives for large and complex public and private organizations in the United States and abroad, including major projects for BP, NASA, and the European Central Bank, delivering ground-breaking and award-winning projects while publishing multiple articles on his insights and experiences
Alex Connolly
In her 5 years with Singularis, Alex has worked upon a broad range of Workday projects including Benefits, Time Off, Recruiting, Staffing (Positions and Job Requisitions), acquisitions, and EIBs. She specializes in creating workday reports, training materials, and in designing and executing test strategies for migrating complex solutions into production environments. She oversees Singularis’ team to create cost effective and powerful training/job-aid videos in addition to job aids to assist in employee adoption.
Alex holds bachelor’s degree in communications and is also responsible for Singularis' website design, social media, and general outreach
Maya Martinez
Maya has worked as a Workday consultant at Singularis for over two years. During that time, she has worked on a wide range of projects including Benefits, Time Off, Recruiting, Staffing, and Reporting. She often focuses in executing transactions and test plans for complex configurations and in validating reporting data. She also creates training materials and videos and does the voice overs for Singularis’ training videos. She is steadily gaining expertise by continuing her Workday course work in the areas of Security, Business Process configuration, EIB’s, and Benefits.
Maya has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance
Venkat Reddy
Venkat is Singularis’ Workday Integrations and Financials Technical Expert. He has in depth experience across much of the Workday platform and has worked to implement, update, and maintain Workday HCM, Payroll and Financials, Workday Security, Business Processes, Custom Reports, and Workday Integrations (including Studio Integrations) across multiple, complex clients.
He brings over 15 years of experience as an ERP architect to Singularis Consulting, having worked to implement SAS and On-Premises solutions for HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain on multiple platforms for Fortune 500 clients across a variety of industries (including Finance, Health Care, Medical Research, and Insurance).
